Royal Geographical Society of Australasia, Queensland – First Day & Souvenir Covers

RGSAQ covers are often addressed to philatelic celebrities like Stapleton, Bodin, Sheard, O’Brien, Stace, Segnit, and so on. Many covers are addressed in Sheard’s handwriting, which is easy to spot from a mile away. It would be a real challenge to try an assemble a full set of RGSAQ covers addressed to one of these famous stamp collectors from the past. I’m still trying to work out all the variations and postmarks etc so will post more scans & text eventually to try and form a better picture around these interesting covers.
